Park Row is a film journal concerned with the formal language of cinema. We write about composition, framing, movement, editing, duration, sound, bodies, light, and the material conditions of the image.

Our interest is in looking closely: following how a film organizes attention and how meaning emerges from the relationships between images, sounds, spaces, and bodies.
